JUST IN : We Can’t Continue To Fold Our Arms And Watch Her Destroy Us, It’s Time To Bring Out Our Big Guns-FFK

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has launched an attack on British Conservative MP and Secretary of State for Business and Trade, Kemi Badenoch accusing her of consistently maligning Nigeria and its people.

Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! In a fiery post on his verified X account, Fani-Kayode expressed deep concern over what he described as Badenoch’s repeated denigration of Nigeria. He called on fellow Nigerians to stop tolerating her alleged attacks and push back with equal force.

“We cannot continue to fold our arms and watch her denigrate and destroy us,” he tweeted. “It is time to bring out the big guns, challenge her mendacities at every turn and expose her for what she is: a sick young lady who needs psychiatric medication and medical attention.”

His post reflects a growing sentiment among some Nigerians who believe the British lawmaker has not shown respect or understanding for the complexities of African affairs.

Badenoch who was born to Nigerian parents, has occasionally drawn criticism for her outspoken conservative views on issues relating to race, colonial history and identity politics.

The former minister’s use of strong language has, however, sparked mixed reactions online. While some supported his demand for accountability and national pride, others criticized the personal nature of his comments.

This latest clash highlights the tensions that can arise when high-profile figures of Nigerian descent abroad make remarks perceived to undermine their heritage. It remains to be seen whether Badenoch will respond or if this exchange will prompt wider public debate on the responsibilities of diaspora leaders toward their countries of origin.
