In a Facebook video broadcast, Asari Dokubo, a prominent chieftain of the Kalabari people, voiced his frustration over what he described as the undue reverence many Nigerians accord to Peter Obi. He argued that, were he to govern Anambra State, he would transform it completely in a single term and would not even reside in the government house. Dokubo criticized Obi’s eight-year tenure as governor, claiming that Anambra’s development is negligible compared to the dramatic transformation witnessed in many parts of China.
