, has been turbaned as the Suniya Asusu Nupe, in a ceremony held at the Etsu Nupe’s palace in Bida, Niger State.

The event, which attracted traditional rulers, government officials, and financial sector stakeholders, was described as a recognition of Aisha’s exceptional service to the nation and contributions to the socio-economic growth of Nupe land.

Conferring the title, the Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, said:

“The Asusu Nupe title is a mark of honour for those who have served selflessly. Aisha’s achievements in national financial policy and her support for local initiatives are worthy of this recognition.”

In her acceptance speech, Aisha expressed gratitude to the Nupe traditional council and pledged to support programmes that promote financial literacy, women empowerment, and rural development.

“This honour deepens my commitment to creating opportunities for our youth and fostering economic growth within our communities,” she stated.

The turbaning, held on Saturday, featured cultural displays and goodwill messages from dignitaries across the North-Central region.
