ERLING HAALAND has signed a megabucks new deal at Manchester City – but he is still far from being the top earner in football.
The
Norweigian hitman put pen to paper on a new contractthat will run until 2034.
Haaland, 25, will earn an eye-watering £260million over the length of the deal.
The striker will
pocket a cool £500,000-per-week, a significant increase on his previous £375,000-per-week salary.
The extension sees the Citizens strengthen their position to keep hold of Haaland amid interest from Real Madrid.
However, despite his stunning new pay packet, he is only the ninth highest-paid player in football.
Bayern Munichpay the England captain just over £400k every single week.
Harry Kane is the highest paid British player in football and has been well worth the financial outlay made by the Bundesliga outfit.
The striker has so far scored 66 goals and assisted 22 in just 67 appearances for Bayern.
Haaland’s new deal has propelled him into the top ten highest earners in football.
He will now be earning half a million pounds every week to continue performing in the Premier League.
Like Kane, Haaland has been a prolific forward since making his last transfer with 111 goals in 126 appearances for the Citizens.

Real Madridlast summer.

Former Liverpool star Sadio Mane is one of the top earners in world football.
The winger is paid £673,000-per-week at Al-Nassr which will run until
2027.
However, despite his massive salary he is not even the best paid player at the club.

He has made 55 appearances for the club since signing in 2023 and has scored 19 goals and assisted 22.
Karim Benzema is the first player to crack the £1million every week mark.
And crack it he does as he banks an astonishing £1.6million-per-week from Al-Ittihad.

The Brazilian pockets £1.7million-per-week from Al-Hilal and is the top earner at the club ahead of Koulibaly.

Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese superstar signed a whooping £173m every year with Al-Nassr when he left
Manchester Unitedin 2022..
This equates to the club paying him £3.3m-per-week, dwarfing the salaries of every other footballer in the world.
