“You are in for a ride” – Toyin Abraham speaks amid Iyabo Ojo’s statement over her feud with Funke Akindele

Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham isn’t letting her issue with colleague Funke Akindele and Iyabo Ojo’s statement on the situation weigh her down.

Kemi Filani reported on Tuesday that Iyabo addressed those calling her unprintable names over the issue, letting them know that she had cried for their reconciliation in the past and that they had listened to her, but only on one condition. Iyabo revealed the cause of their recent beef, making it clear that she can’t beg anyone anymore, doesn’t want to get involved, and that people should respect that.

On her Instagram page, she shared a video of herself promoting her recent project. Toyin described herself as Jesus Bestie.

“Bestie Jesu as Zainab in Love between Two Altars.

Love between two Altars will start showing from Thursday, the 2nd of April, on Toyin Abraham TV on YouTube by 6pm”.

In another post, she told her fans they are in for a ride with the movies on her YouTube page.

“Trust me, Fam, you’re in for a ride on Toyin Abraham TV on YouTube, just on your notification and subscription.

Thursday, 2nd of April, Love between two Altars will be dropping by 6pm”.

Refreshing your memory, at Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere on Sunday, Funke had snubbed Toyin’s greetings. In a viral clip, Funke was captured sitting with Iyabo Ojo and Mercy Aigbe when Toyin walked to greet them. Many were surprised when Funke ignored Toyin’s greeting, leaving Toyin embarrassed.

Speaking out, Toyin vowed never to greet the actress again. According to her, if she ever greets Funke, then she is a bastard. She further revealed that she had unfollowed Akindele.

Breaking his silence, her husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi, appreciated her for constantly listening to him. He noted that Toyin wants to talk but was keeping silent because of him.

The reignited beef came as a surprise; late last year, Funke and Toyin shared a sweet moment at Toke Makinwa’s daughter’s dedication. Toyin was seen kneeling to greet Funke at the event, and she accepted her greetings.

At Ginger’s movie premiere, also last year, Funke and Toyin had melted with an adorable video of them exchanging a sweet moment before being interrupted by Kiekie. The two power players of Nollywood cinemas were also captured in another clip, dancing at the premiere.

For years there was rivalry between the two screen goddesses, as they have both dominated the TV screen for years and are still doing so.

However, the two ladies settled their differences as Toyin celebrated Funke on her birthday, and she reciprocated. Toyin had also attended Funke Akindele’s movie premiere, unfortunately their friendship was short-lived.
