Shade Okoya, wife of billionaire industrialist Chief Razaq Okoya, has joined President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for Eid Mubarak celebrations at the Presidential Villa over the weekend.
The high-profile visit also included the former Delta State Governor James Ibori and Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Bagudu.
Shade shared photos from the visit on her Instagram page, captioning them:
“Celebrating Salah with His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”The images featured Shade, her husband, and their two sons, alongside President Tinubu, and quickly stirred conversations online.
Social media users hailed the family for their elegance and influence, while others questioned the display of wealth and privilege.

Despite past controversies, the Okoyas remain a prominent fixture in Nigeria’s elite circles.
Earlier this year, they delighted social media users by joining a TikTok challenge and winning admiration when Shade generously gifted a young boy a bundle of cash at an event, further earning her the nickname
“Rich Aunty of Lagos.”
