KYLIAN MBAPPE has been spotted driving a Mini despite having a personal fleet of supercars at his disposal.
The
聽Real Madrid聽man has finally passed his test after falling behind his peers whilst becoming one of the world’s best footballers.
But that didn’t stop Mbappe, 27, from
聽collecting a range of expensive vehicles聽.
聽He is thought to have a £400,000 Ferrari and £140k BMW聽in his garage.
聽Mbappe 聽still took to the streets of Paris in a humble and much less flashy Mini, reportedly costing a relatively modest £35k.
Pictures in the
聽Daily Mail聽show Mbappe doing so without L plates on, suggesting that he has finally earned his full licence.
Mbappe is said to have been back in France as he tries to find a way to recover from a knee injury halting his season.
The striker is a doubt for Madrid’s Champions League last-16 tie against Manchester City next week after the re-emergence of an issue with his knee.
聽It is claimed that he used the time out from playing to pass his test聽, but was still caught with his mum, Fayza Lamari.
Mbappe was snapped in the convertible Mini Cooper S outside the Le Royal Monceau hotel.
He has also been seen posing with an electric BMW i7 at the Madrid training ground.
He got that through a partnership with the company and Los Blancos.
Mbappe’s other cars include a Ferrari Hybrid SF90 and £230k Cadillac Escalade.
Reports say he also has a Ferrari 488 Pista and a V-Class Mercedes-Benz van.
But going from teenage prodigy at Monaco to World Cup winner and global star stopped him from getting hours behind the wheel.
Speaking in 2023 he said: “It’s one of the downsides of being successful early, I missed simple things like having a driver’s licence.
“I think everyone has one. For many people a licence is an obligation, but it wasn’t for me.
“Although it is synonymous with independence, I had my independence early on because I had drivers at my disposal. It has never been a priority.”
聽And his mum revealed last year聽: “He’s even been driving around ring roads in a [Peugeot] 206 just to see what it’s like.
“He can’t even walk down the street anymore. It saddens me.
“I’ve always separated his sporting career from the man he’s becoming.
“That’s where he impresses me – his ability to plan his season, how to manage the highlights and the downsides.”
