“Iran Has Gotten It All Out Of Their System” — Trump Calls Missile Strike On US Base In Qatar “Very Weak Response”

President Donald Trump has characterized Iran’s retaliatory missile strike on a US airbase in Qatar as a coordinated but ineffective response, suggesting the attack could mark a turning point toward Middle East peace.

In a series of Truth Social posts Monday, Trump revealed that Iran fired 14 missiles at the Qatar base, with 13 intercepted and one allowed to continue as it posed no threat. “Iran has officially responded to our Obliteration of their Nuclear Facilities with a very weak response, which we expected, and have very effectively countered,” the president stated.

Trump emphasized that no Americans or Qataris were killed or wounded in the attack, expressing optimism that Iran has now “gotten it all out of their system” and there would be “no further HATE.”

The president revealed that Iran provided advance notice of the strike, enabling protective measures that prevented casualties. “I want to thank Iran for giving us early notice, which made it possible for no lives to be lost, and nobody to be injured,” Trump said.

He extended an olive branch to both Iran and Israel, stating: “Perhaps Iran can now proceed to Peace and Harmony in the Region, and I will enthusiastically encourage Israel to do the same.”

Israeli officials signaled that military operations in Iran could soon conclude, with an Israeli official telling CNN that remaining military objectives could be achieved within days, potentially setting up a ceasefire.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared Israel is “very, very close to completing” its military objectives in Iran, emphasizing he doesn’t want the country dragged into a prolonged conflict.

Israeli military spokesperson Effie Defrin described recent strikes as the most “extensive” wave in Tehran to date, with 50 aircraft deploying 100 munitions against Iranian military positions and internal security infrastructure.

The missile exchange prompted temporary airspace closures across the Gulf. Kuwait and Bahrain have since reopened their airspaces, while Dubai Airports resumed operations with potential flight delays.

Iraq’s foreign ministry warned that regional tensions had reached “a dangerous and unprecedented turning point,” calling for dialogue over military solutions.

French President Emmanuel Macron condemned the escalation, declaring “the spiral of chaos must end” while calling for restraint from all parties. However, Macron criticized the legal framework for US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities over the weekend.

The Iranian response followed intensive Israeli and US strikes targeting Iran’s nuclear and missile capabilities. The US reportedly deployed bunker-buster bombs on underground nuclear facilities at Fordo and Natanz over the weekend.

Trump concluded his statements with an optimistic declaration: “CONGRATULATIONS WORLD, IT’S TIME FOR PEACE!”
