Accident: 4 soldiers killed in Bamenda

Road accident

The toll is heavy, tragic, unbearable. Bamenda, a city in Cameroon, capital of the Mezam department and the North-West region, mourns these sons of the country who fell on its road and will never rise again.

At least, we have just learned, four soldiers have died in Up-Station in Bamenda. The tragedy occurred around 4 a.m.

The vehicle transporting them was speeding at that time of day, which had just begun. The car was carrying soldiers returning from a shooting range to the locality of Akum.

14 other soldiers were seriously injured. The families of the victims are currently inconsolable.
